Registrations are now open for our 3rd NCAM Orchestral Weekend — a celebration of music, community, and connection for all ages and abilities.

Whether you are a student just beginning your musical journey, a parent who used to play, or someone who simply loves the sound of a full orchestra — this is your invitation to be part of something special. You might not have touched your instrument in decades, or you may play regularly — either way, this weekend is for you.

Across two days of rehearsals and creative collaboration, participants will be guided by experienced tutors and a guest artist from the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra (to be announced). The weekend will conclude with a public Showcase Concert at 6:00pm on Saturday, where everyone will come together to share what has been created.

We believe that music is for everyone, and this weekend is an opportunity to experience the joy of playing together — no matter your age, experience, or background. Join us as we celebrate the incredible talent, enthusiasm, and spirit of the Waimakariri District.
