I have completed my Bachelor of Music (Performance Voice) at the University of Canterbury having completed a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) in 2020. I have now started my Master of Arts (Music) in Performance Voice and Composition. My intention is then to study towards a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA).
I have enjoyed performing from a young age and I play several instruments, Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute and Harp, gaining my Associate of the Royal Schools of Music in Voice in 2017. I was part of the NZSO Mentorship Programme under Associate Principle, violinist Donald Armstrong. I was a member of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Girls Choir, performed at the Sheldonian in Oxford and recorded A Ceremony of Carols on the CD “A Festival of Britten”. I was a member of the UK National Schools Symphony Orchestra from 2011 - 2018.
I have been a member of UC Chamber Choir, Consortia for 6 years. I have performed as 'Galatea' in Handel’s Opera "Acis and Galatea" and ‘Belinda’ in Purcell’s "Dido and Aeneas". I have recently performed in the Christchurch New Zealand Opera Chorus for the 2022 performance of "Macbeth" at the Isaac Theatre Royal.
In complete contrast my interests are diverse and I enjoy competing at National level in Aerobatics and I am working towards my Commercial Pilots Licence. I also thoroughly enjoy coaching at ICE Trampoline Club, Rangiora and compete at Junior Women's International level.
