Preference is given to beginners and junior students. The charge for instrument hire covers depreciation, hire and some repairs (see the hire agreement for details).

If you are not learning your instrument through the Academy and need to hire an instrument from us (receiving lessons elsewhere, or just participating in a ensemble or orchestra), then the hire charge will be determined by the Musical Director and shall be in line with other market charges.
